“This was our second visit to the hotel and it was even better than before. We travel with our dog and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, with a small balcony. There is a newly extended lounge area where our dog was allowed to be with us for drinks. And we had a great dinner and morning breakfast. Highly recommended if you are visiting Pamplona or travelling north or south as we were”

“I booked Hotel Luze El Toro somewhat blindly, based on a friend’s recommendation, and it turned out to be a brilliant choice. The location is spot on for anyone doing a long drive, like my journey from Jávea Spain back to the UK. It’s just outside Pamplona, so you avoid any traffic hassle, and there’s plenty of easy parking. What really stood out for me was the surrounding area, with some fantastic hiking routes nearby and stunning views if you fancy stretching your legs after a long drive. When I arrived, I was genuinely surprised at how lovely the property is. It has a charming, rustic feel with traditional architecture, well-kept gardens, and a calm, countryside atmosphere that makes it feel more like a retreat than a stopover. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I checked in, and the room was exactly what I needed: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a good night’s rest. I also had dinner in the restaurant, which offered a great selection of food and didn’t disappoint. All in all, a really pleasant surprise and perfect for an overnight stop. In fact, I’d happily come back again, not just in transit, but purely to explore the area and enjoy the hotel and some hiking. Recommended”

“The level of care and service provided to us at this hotel was exceptional. The room was extremely comfortable & the dining room & lounges were well appointed. The breakfast was generous and fresh. Particular mention must be made of Patricia, an excellent reception staff member. She cared for us & helped us when we discovered a flat tyre on our hire car. She assisted with translation and making arrangements with the hire car company. She was absolutely fabulous! Thank you Patricia.”
